Maths:

As a school, we are introducing the Power Maths schemes of learning. This follows the mastery teaching of maths, and is similar in structure to the White Rose schemes previously used. As always, lessons will be adapted to suit the needs of our class if needed. Take a look at the yearly overview:

Autumn Term:

The start of the academic year is always a busy one! Settling into new routines and school life after a lovely summer break. Please take a look at the newsletter for some of the exciting things happening this half term:

Homework:

Homework will be set on a Monday and will need to be completed by Friday. This will include a Maths and Grammar assignment. Homework this term will be set using the 'Century' platform which children trialled in Year 5.

Children should read at least 3 times a week and have this recorded on Boom Reader.

Additional information:

PE kits should be worn to school on Tuesdays when the class will go swimming. Following this, the children will have an indoor PE session each Friday in the second part of the Autumn Term.
