World Book Day

Class: Year 6 Year: 2014 - 2015

On World Book Day, as well as looking fantastic in our fancy dress costumes and 'mad' hats, we carried out lots of fun reading related activities. As our class author this half term is Philip Pullman, we read some of his descriptive narrative openings and then recreated them with artwork. We also had a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party' in class, where we made sticky jam sandwiches! To finish the busy day, we worked together to produce board games based upon previous reading and our favourite books.
