Survival skills for life in the polar regions

Class: Year 6 Year: 2014 - 2015

We had a fabulous time on Monday (despite the cold weather) learning about the polar regions, the animals which live there and survival skills used by the different settlements. We now know how to use different types of knots to build a shelter. We also managed to squeeze in Maths revision - finding area and perimeter and using knowledge of properties of shapes!
