This week we looked again at castle invasions but this time we were going to do the firing against a castle wall.

We thought about the properties of a number of materials:

*paper

*playdough

*fruit

*plastercine

*stones

Then we considered how many blocks of the wooden wall each strike would know off.

Having carried out our attacks, we then thought about why our predictions were right or wrong.

Another lesson learnt was that you had to have a jolly good aim when firing the cannons!
